On May 28, 2010, Mr. Cristian Ducu will be lecturing at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Bucharest as part of the "Open Lectures in Applied Ethics". He will try to present a more rational and realistic perspective over what CSR is and can achieve.

At the 2010 Education Forum, Romanian academics made a few, timid steps towards building general awareness on the importance of Ethics Management systems for academic and research quality. At this event, Mr. Ducu pleaded for pushing the authorities to create legal requirements concerning Ethics & Compliance Audit for universities, both private and public.

On April 23, Mr. Ducu will participate at an academic conference hosted by SACRI. He will lecture on ethical expertise and its requirements in public and private organizations, with special focus on universities.

Mr. Cristian Ducu has prepared a series of comments on the new proposal for the National Education Law. In his opinion, this proposal lacks any logic in all aspects concerning Ethics and Compliance in Romanian universities.
